Abstract:2010 has witnessed the continued prosperousness of natural gas industry. The production，consumption and importation have gained rapidly growth，and its supply and demand is roughly in balance. Driven by internationalization of resources，China’s natural gas industry has entirely advanced and overall upgraded. Meanwhile，the pace of market-based reform of pricing mechanism speeds up. Besides，it further smoothes the relationship between industrial chain and the value chain. The scale of imported natural gas has augmented greatly，the exploitation of unconventional natural gas resources has stimulated，and the influence of the supply capability of natural gas has enhanced，which promotes the form of regional natural gas markets including various demands，such as clean energy for city uses，alternative fuels for industry uses，chemical fuels，and so on.
