全球新秩序视角下的“一带一路”倡议

Abstract:The Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road，better known as The Belt and Road Initiative（OBOR），The Belt and Road（B&R）and The Belt and Road Initiative（BRI）（OBOR）is a development strategy proposed by China’s leader Xi Jinping. It focuses on connectivity and cooperation between Eurasian countries，primarily the People’s Republic of China（PRC），the land-based Silk Road Economic Belt（SREB）and the oceangoing Maritime Silk Road（MSR）. As many readers may be unaware of this recent initiative，I first introduce the The Belt and Road strategy in order to better appreciate its ambitious plan as well as the numerous countries and heavy financing it involves. I then follow with an evaluation of this enterprise. However，as there is limited available information on the initiative in academic publications，I have chosen to consider whether this strategy represents the beginning of a new Chinese world order. As I believe that the Belt and Road strategy is implicitly judged as aiming at such a new global order，it is important to directly address this possibility and consider that which is challenging and intriguing about this beneficial initiative.
