Abstract:With the development of the international intangible cultural heritage protection movement，as a special category in the intangible cultural heritage，the connotation of cultural space has actually expanded to a certain extent.According to the actual situation of China's intangible cultural heritage protection，and the analysis of typical cases about cultural ecological protection experimentation area of Southwest Hubei in Wuling Mountains，the“cultural space”can be divided into original ecological cultural space，derived ecological cultural space and creative ecological cultural space，which all have the legitimacy and rationality.The purpose of the protection and construction of cultural space is to highlight the ecological concept and to construct a beautiful China with the harmony between human and nature，human and society through the implementation of the overall protection of cultural and natural heritage.
