Abstract:Bedouins are a subgroup within the Arab minority in Israel，with cultural，historical，social and political uniqueness.After the establishment of Israel，the Bedouins in the Negev have been undergoing a process of urbanization，transmitting their life from seminomadic to sedentary.Urbanization and modernization in recent decades have shaken the socioeconomic foundations of the Bedouin society.On the one hand，urbanization brings more fictions that were not common in Bedouin society before；on the other hand，it helps the Bedouins integrate into the mainstream Israeli society.
