Abstract:Japan’s aging process is developing at an unprecedented rate in the world，and the demand for medical care and nursing is further increasing. In this context，the ministry of health，labor and welfare of Japan has decided to promote the establishment of a comprehensive regional support and service provision system in order to maintain the dignity of the elderly and assist them in their independent lives，and provide the elderly with the best possible security in their own homes. This article sorts out the historical development context，related concepts and evaluation improvement mechanisms of the “regional comprehensive care system”，briefly describes the source of the system’s operating funds，and on the basis of summing up the experience and lessons in the process of Japan’s aging process，from the three aspects of integration of multiple systems，comprehensive policy formulation and sustainable development planning，and humanistic care in policy Provide reference for countermeasures of aging.
