Abstract:This report introduces and analyzes how the United States，the European Union，the United Kingdom，Singapore and other countries regulate the Internet audiovisual industry. Although each country’s regulatory system has its own characteristics，the overall trend is as follows：（i） advancing legislation and establishing the legal system that keeps pace with the times；（ii） attaching importance to integrated development and strengthening the construction of an integrated regulation system；（iii） differentiating linear and non-linear audiovisual services and gradually bringing the Internet audiovisual industry into the scope of existing media regulation；and （iv） stressing industry self-discipline and public supervision and paying attention to the fostering of media literacy.
