2016~2017年塞尔维亚发展报告

Abstract:In 2016 and 2017，parliamentary and presidential elections took place in Serbia. The ruling Serbian Progressive Party won the two elections and consolidated its ruling position. Serbia’s domestic politics will see a period of relative stability. The government will work hard to complete reforms and take measures to promote economic development as to meet the requirement to become an EU member state. On the economic front，the government has taken effective measures to maintain macroeconomic stability，promote the privatization of state-owned enterprises and improve the investment environment. It is expected to see steady growth in 2017-2018. Serbia attaches great importance to its relations with China and takes an active part in the “16+1 cooperation”. The cooperation in various fields has achieved fruitful results. In particular，in the field of infrastructure construction，China’s investment and the participation of Chinese enterprises play an important role.
