Abstract:This report reviews the articles in mainstream foreign journals on international relations over the past year and provides comments on some representative articles to understand the hot issues and to present the trends in current research. The authors believe that there have been several new trends in international academic circles on international relations studies，including extensive discussions on the different changes in theoretical research，more attention to the direction of the liberal international order and its influence on national foreign policy and development strategy，rational investigations into the impacts and effects of international organizations，the combination of overall perspectives and specific analyses of global governance，further research on issues related to the rise of China，and so on.
