Abstract:“Construction of Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor：Dilemma and Way Out” Summarizes a series of progresses and some existing problems and challenges in interconnection，cultural exchanges，scientific and technological assistance，economic and trade cooperation and project construction since the launch of the economic corridor in 2013. On this basis，it profoundly shows that insufficient political mutual trust，lagging-behind transportation infrastructure，limited cultural exchanges and cooperation，prominent economic and trade completion frictions，rising risks in investment environment，and obstruction by external forces，seriously affect the smooth progress of the economic corridor’s construction. Specific policy recommendations include strengthening mutual political trust，promoting interconnection，enhancing cultural cooperation，and innovating with economic and trade cooperation models.
