Abstract:The Ukraine crisis was one of the most important international events in 2014，and the event had a great impact on the global economy and politics. From the perspective of the world economy，the Ukraine crisis had a great influence，covering such areas as the de-dollarization process，world energy，commodity markets of mass goods，as well as the price of global gold and stocks. From the perspective of international politics，the event effected adjustments in the U.S. global strategy，changed the geopolitical balance of power，and pushed the world political structure in the direction of multi-polarization. At present，all parties related to the Ukraine crisis still face rivalries，and the situation has yet to be improved. The ceasefire allowed for the dawn of a political settlement to the crisis，but there is still a long way to go before the situation can be resolved. In the long term，the development of leveraging in the international economic situation to produce political change cannot be excluded.
