Abstract:As climate change has a close relation with the geographic of the Arctic region and the relation leads to a synergic security effect，the Arctic region casts remarkable impacts on the dynamic mechanism of the earth evolution，ecology，ocean circulation and climate change. Climate change has three major impacts on the security of the Arctic region：first，climate change undermines the ecosystem equilibrium of the Arctic. Second，climate change has aroused intense races of resource exploitation. Third，climate change caused cross-border conflicts for the Arctic waters，which will change the geopolitical situation in this region. The ecological security，resource security and geopolitical security in the Arctic region interweaves with one another. It becomes a challenge to human wisdom and capacity to balance these three factors.
