Abstract:In 2021，despite the lingering Covid-19 epidemic，Guangdong，with a large-scale and resilient industrial base，witnessed a stable and more solid industrial growth，optimized industrial structure，flourishing digital economy，and faster growth of the output value of marine and cultural industry. Overall，Guangdong’s industries featured a shift from high-speed growth to stable development. In 2022，Guangdong will still face many challenges in establishing strategic industrial clusters as new momentum for industrial growth at a faster pace，in improving modernizing industrial chains and supply chains，and in continuously refining the layout of industrial regions. Therefore，it is necessary for Guangdong to boost the internally-driven growth of industries and fuel their high-quality development by attracting investment，stabilizing consumption，promoting innovation，shoring up weak links，advancing industrial upgrading，fostering new competitive edges，boosting reforms，improving business environment，promoting agglomeration and strengthening support.
