Abstract:Marked by Vision 2030，Saudi Arabia launched its economic transformation in 2016 with the main goals of “decarbonization”，privatization，marketization and internationalization. Since the launch of the economic transformation strategy，although Saudi Arabia has achieved some reform achievements，there are still many transformation goals behind the established plan. The economic transformation of Saudi Arabia has also provided new opportunities for China and Saudi Arabia to cooperate under the “Belt and Road” initiative. The two sides have deepened policy communication，infrastructure connectivity and unimpeded trade since Saudi Arabia launched its economic transformation. However，despite Saudi Arabia’s strong will to promote national economic transformation，the lack of financial funds，the shortage of human resources supply and the lack of attraction of foreign investment will still be an important obstacle to the implementation of Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation strategy.
