This has had a profound impact on the cooperation of developing countries in the field of energy. Through bilateral or multilateral mechanisms，The developing countries have established a series of international platforms for the cooperation in energy sector，and have carried out extensive cooperation in areas such as ensuring energy security，developing and utilizing clean energy，and promoted the continuous improvement of the global energy governance. South-South cooperation in energy sector has made great progress，but it also faces some problems and challenges. As the largest developing country in the world，China is becoming more and more important in the South-South cooperation and is playing an active role in promoting energy cooperation in energy sector among the developing countries.
