Along with China’s reform and opening-up,exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in various fields continue to deepen, promoting mutually beneficial and win-win development between the two countries. The Prime Ministers of the two countries successfully exchanged visits,Sino-Japanese relations got on the normal development track, and the friendship between China and Japan restarted. The exchanges and interactions between the two countries at all levels have increased, bilateral trade and investment have increased steadily, and mutually beneficial cooperation has further expanded. However, with the escalation of global trade protectionism and the uncertainties in the global economic recovery,we are still facing complex internal and external environment and uncertainties. Looking forward to 2019,it will be the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the key year for building a well-off society in an all-round way. China will host the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and the second China International Import Expo. Japan will host the G20 summit and prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
