古巴修宪与社会主义模式更新

Abstract:Since Raúl Castro taking office in July 2007，Cuba has been constantly pushing forward and deepening the process of updating socialist model. In 2016，the 7th National Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba has established the theorization and institutionalization of the model updating and strived to develop the economy and improve people’s living standards guided by a long-term strategy. In 2018，Cuba has successfully achieved the change of top leadership and launched a new round of constitutional amendment.The model updating has been considered as a timely answer to the globalization challenges. At present，the necessity and inevitability of the model updating has been widely understood in Cuba，but not yet for the updating ways. In the future，Cuba would be still faced with many challenges in political，economic，social and diplomatic fields. Only by adhering to the socialist model based on its national conditions，development stages and fundamental interests of people，can Cuba take the greatest institutional advantages of socialism and eventually achieve “a prosperous and sustainable socialism”.
