太平洋岛国教育发展现状与中太教育合作路径

Abstract:Pacific island countries are located on the southern route of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. Restricted by historical and realistic factors such as resources and environment，geography and so on，the development of education in the Pacific island countries has generally lagged behind. According to the practical needs of the island countries to realize sustainable development，this paper holds that the cooperation in education between China and the Pacific island countries should take the cooperation in vocational education as the breakthrough point and start with the training local teachers and the implementing of education aid，promoting the development of higher education through network technology and shared curriculum. This will not only bring tangible benefits to the people of the island countries，but also be an important part of the joint building of “Belt and Road”.
