Abstract:The Silicon Roundabout emerged in the eastern part of London in 2008 and has a geographical advantage close to London city center and the London financial district. The development of Silicon Roundabout is divided into two phases：the initial stage of marketization and the maturity of the government to promote. The rise of the Silicon Roundabout has two reasons：London's growing into the world's top technology cities and the expansion of the field of technology industry in London. There are two main aspects of the economic activities of the Silicon Roundabout：one is the growing share of the technology industry（digital economy），and the other is economic activities with digital economy，information and communication technology and digital content.
