Abstract:With the deepening of globalization，the importance and complexity of global health is ever growing，and the maintenance of global health security and promotion of global health development have become the two core objectives of global health governance. As a typical middle power，Canada has played a crucial role in global health governance. Through vigorous support of health-related multilateral organizations and global health initiatives，active participation in global fights against infectious diseases and strong commitment of international health assistance，Canada has tried to use health as an important means to protect national security，promote soft power and global health equity，and has achieved a win-win result of national interests and global health development.
