Abstract:There exists a long history of friendly exchanges between Israel and India. During the Cold War，India’s pro-Arab position and non-aligned foreign policy kept the Israel-India relations cold. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties between India and Israel in 1992，the bilateral political relations between these two countries have warmed along with expanding economic，technological，defense and cultural relations. Defense cooperation has become a pillar of their bilateral relations. Not only does it allow the two countries to achieve a win-win situation，but also lays the foundation for their future cooperation. Although insurmountable obstacles in the relations between these two countries remain，their mutual concerns in the economy，science technology，geopolitics，and their shared security interests leave expansive development space for Israel-India relations.
