上海合作组织自由贸易区前景展望

Abstract:This paper reviews the results of the regional economic cooperation of the SCO in 2016. The author used the GTAP model to predicte prospects of 8 member countries of the expanded SCO including India and Pakistan in promoting trade facilitation and liberalization. The results showed that the promotion of regional trade facilitation would benefit member states in general especially the Central Asian countries and Pakistan，and the establishment of free trade zone of the SCO would produce more substantial economic benefits. Therefore，the member states should abandon the prejudice and join hands to promote the process of liberalization of regional trade and investment to benefit the people of all countries with the fruits of regional economic cooperation.
