President Trump’s rhetoric and proposals with respect to U.S.-Middle East relations have triggered some concerns and debates in the U.S. and abroad. How about the Trump administration’s strategy orientation in the Middle East？Using U.S. Middle East strategy framework as a reference，this paper makes analysis and judges on the Trump administration’s strategy orientation in the Middle East from the perspectives of the Middle East’s role in US foreign strategy，U.S. interests in the Middle East，and U.S. means at its disposal to defend such interests. Based on such a strategy framework，the paper studies and judges the Trump administration’s concrete policy choices in dealing with some urgent challenges in the Middle East. The paper concludes that the Trump administration would to a great extent continue the Obama administration’s Middle East strategy.
