Abstract:Shanxi Province, referred to as "Jin", is located in the east of the Yellow River, the Taihang Mountains to the west, the terrain is intermediate for the basin, East and west side for the mountains, connecting north and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, connecting East and Hebei Province, Henan Province in the South and connected to the, west across the Yellow River in Shaanxi Province and the adjacent, with a total area of for 15.6 million square kilometers. In 2014 the total population of 36 million 480 thousand people, GDP was 12761 yuan, an increase of 4.9%, per capita GDP reached 35070 yuan. This section through the analysis on the 2013 to 2014 in Shanxi Province economic comprehensive competitiveness and the competitiveness rankings change, find out the comprehensive competitiveness of Shanxi province economy promote and influence factors, in order to further enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of Shanxi province economy provide decision-making reference.
