立足改革开放实践 构建中国话语体系——“建立中国的理论研究和话语体系”观点述要

Abstract:On June 21，2012，the Workshop on Building the Chinese System of Theoretical Research and Discourse was held in Beijing under the sponsorship of the World Socialism Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The workshop focused on the topic of “interpreting the Chinese path and practice in terms of the Chinese system of theoretical research and discourse”.The participants argued that given the remarkable progress made in reform and opening-up，we should be confident enough of making theoretical achievements in studying the Chinese miracle and the socialist system，and that a scientific attitude should be adopted in building the academic discourse of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics，Chinese style and Chinese spirit. In response to the multifarious manifestations of discourse power in the fields of politics，economy，culture，history and education，the participants further suggested that we should set up and improve a discourse system that safeguards the fundamental interests of China and the Chinese people，so that it can become the general consensus of the Chinese people；that we should adopt a critical attitude in the studies of foreign cultures and research achievements，so that we can distinguish the essence from the dross；that we should make a thorough and systematic review of the terms and concepts that have been introduced into Chinese academic disciplines over the years，and that a Chinese discourse dissemination strategy be developed thereof.
