Abstract:The Middle East remained the hot spot of the world in 2008-2009. The Palestinian-Israel peace talks showed optimism，pessimism and optimism again while the international society was intensifying efforts in promoting peace. Syria and Lebanon realized normalization of relations，but the Iranian nuclear issue remains unresolved. The elections held in Israel and Iran also produced impact on the regional situation. 展开
