Abstract:The international situation in 2023 is evolving rapidly. The direction of Russia-Ukraine conflict is unclear，and there is a sense of stalemate. The war between Palestinian Hamas and Israel is far from over. After multiple rounds of crazy bombings，the Israeli army was forced to gradually withdraw from Gaza. As events progress，France’s policy toward the NATO group and the Middle East is also changing. France’s economic performance has been lackluster amid a global economic downturn. Economic recession and inflation have led to social protests and ethnic group conflicts. Fortunately，other parties in the French political arena performed also poorly，and the reorganized coalition of left-wing parties collapsed. The Macron government was able to use “constitutional amendment” reforms to make the people temporarily forget the current troubles.
