Abstract:With the deepening trend of anti-globalization，countries around the world have an increasingly urgent need to maintain their economic security and actively seek international organizations to carry out economic security cooperation. In this context，the Shanghai Cooperation Organization（SCO），which aims to maintain and strengthen regional peace，security，and stability，will inevitably increase its demand for economic security cooperation. Due to its inherent function of promoting economic stability and development，finance plays an increasingly important role in strengthening the resilience and stability of international industrial and supply chains. Financial cooperation guided by strengthening the SCO’s economic security bottom line can be considered as the main focus. Research has found that the economic security within the framework of the SCO is not only constrained by the negative impact of geopolitical tensions but also by the huge economic and trade gap among its members，the constant increase in the budget deficit，and the national debt. These issues are reflected in the imbalance of fiscal capacity and insufficient financial contribution. It is an appropriate way to address these problems to strengthen financial cooperation and financial security among the SCO members，and thus provide strong guarantees for their economic security.
