中亚经济发展质量评析

Abstract:Improving the quality of economic development is a common goal pursued by Central Asian countries. Based on the scientific connotation of regional economic development quality，this article constructs an evaluation index system for the quality of economic development in Central Asia from four dimensions：economic growth，structural optimization，innovation drive，and efficiency improvement. Entropy method and other methods are used to evaluate the quality of economic development in Central Asia. The study shows that since 2000，Central Asian countries have made great achievements in economic development，but there is still significant room for improvement in their economic development quality. The performance is that the level of economic growth needs to be improved，the economic structure needs to be optimized，the innovation drive needs to be enhanced，and the economic benefits need to be improved. Central Asian countries should actively promote high-quality co-construction of the “the Belt and Road”，enhance balanced economic development，grasp the opportunities of digital economy development，and strengthen institutional construction，so as to promote the economic growth，structural optimization，innovation drive，and efficiency improvement of Central Asia，and ultimately improve the quality of economic development.
