Abstract:The national independence of Kazakhstan has stimulated the creative passion of artists and given Kazakhstan’s painting art a great opportunity for development. Artists follow the rapid development pace in the fields of politics，society，economy，culture and other fields after the country’s independence，uphold the concept of “unified culture”，and based on the unique cultural customs elements of Kazakh nomads and the characteristics of grassland civilization，they are maintaining the Kazakh national painting. At the same time of traditional style，it widely absorbs and integrates the types and forms of foreign contemporary painting art，realizes the combination of unity and diversity in the development direction，realizes the combination of nationality and world in the subject matter，and realizes the theme and the content in the content diversity combined. In the 30 years after Kazakhstan’s independence，a large number of painting artists have devoted themselves to promoting the innovative development of Kazakhstan’s painting art，constantly strengthening the “self-knowledge” and “self-development” of the national character of Central Asian painting art，and striving to explore the Silk Road. The historical materials on the road，boldly borrowed the expression skills and methods of different art schools，and created many excellent works that express the myths and legends of the grasslands and depict the changes of nomadic civilization，forming realism，surrealism，graphicism，modernism and postmodernism. Eclectic development directions such as ideology. Under the active promotion of the government，the art of painting in Kazakhstan now has a certain status in the field of painting art in the world.
