2022年日本外交：岸田“新时代现实主义外交”及取向

Abstract:In 2022，the political situation in Japan will undergo significant changes，coupled with the impact of the “Russia-Ukraine Conflict，” Japan’s domestic and foreign affairs will enter a period of adjustment. The Kishida administration put forward the concept of “realism diplomacy for a new era” and put Value-oriented Diplomacy，“human rights issues” and “strengthening Japan’s defense” as the focus of diplomacy and security. The Kishida government’s intention to strengthen a “free and open Indo-Pacific” and its security mechanism，relying on the Japan-US alliance，stands in sharp contrast to its China policy，which is “the greatest strategic challenge to date.” With the “Russia-Ukraine Conflict”，Japan，together with the United States and Europe，has increased sanctions against Russia while playing up China as the biggest “regional threat”，constantly undermining peace and stability in East Asia，to increase the defense budget and improve the “defense force” of its interests.
