Abstract:With Sunak becoming the new Prime Minister of the UK at the end of October 2022，the post-Brexit political landscape in the UK began to transition from turmoil to stability，and a shift towards pragmatic diplomacy became evident. Faced with the complex and ever-changing domestic and international environment，Prime Minister Sunak has made numerous adjustments in foreign policy，releasing his Integrated Review Refresh in 2023. During Sunak’s tenure，the UK has strengthened its special relationship with the US，improved UK-EU relations，and advanced its strategic deployment in the “Indo-Pacific” region. However，Sino-UK relations remain at a low point，as the Sunak government continues to pursue a tough stance towards China. Overall，the Sunak government continues to follow the “Global Britain” foreign policy strategy of the Johnson government，with only minor adjustments in specific foreign policies.
