“一带一路”建设与国际油气资源开发合作

Abstract:Energy cooperation is an important element of the Belt and Road Initiative. Since launched，the Belt and Road Initiative has upheld the concept that reflects energy scarcity and competition，and developed in the same direction as energy cooperation. The Belt and Road energy cooperation is important to China’s energy security as more than 70% of overseas oil and gas reserves and production that China’s oil and gas enterprises have acquired are sourced from countries along the Belt and Road. In the future，China’s foreign energy cooperation will focus on three aspects，i.e.，broadening the three onshore strategic oil and gas corridors and the Polar Silk Road；improving the quality of existing oil and gas cooperation；and expanding business in Africa and the Americas. In addition，the “investment-driven service” cooperation model will be brought into full play to expand the Belt and Road more effectively.
