Abstract:The central and southern Liaoning urban agglomeration is an area with earlier industrial start and higher level of urbanization in China，and it is an important support belt for the economic development of Liaoning province and even northeast China. However，as The economy of Liaoning enters the critical period of climbing up the hill and rolling up the hill in recent years，the inherent regional coordination mechanism of the central and southern Liaoning urban agglomeration is not perfect，the radiation capacity of core cities is weak，the degree of industrial coordination is low，and the level of integration is not high，which restrict the high-quality development of regional economy. In the future，it is urgent to make continuous progress in promoting industrial collaborative innovation and development，innovating industrial collaborative development mechanism，building a new frontier of northeast Asia’s opening-up，promoting the integration of ecological and environmental protection，and creating a new mode of regional coordinated development，so as to promote the high-quality development of the urban agglomeration in central and southern Liaoning province with Shenyang and Dalian as the two cores.
