Abstract:The world has entered a more complex and profound period of turbulent change. The impact of Covid-19 pandemic，the competition among great powers and geopolitics have impacted the global governance order，and leads to a situation characterized by governance deficit，return of power-oriented logic，weaponization of multilateral platforms，formation of exclusive institutions，expanding of alliances promoted by hegemons and the “collectivization” of the world pattern. The game of great powers is directly or indirectly projected to the UN Security Council，WTO，G20 and other international organizations and multilateral platforms，which directly or indirectly produced many shock effects. For example，the UN Security Council passed a bill to limit the veto power，the G20 was deliberately “split” by the US and the West in a sense，and the WTO reform has both hopes and difficulties. In addition，on the one hand，“small circle” diplomacy such as regarding to the G7 and NATO has constantly strengthened its exclusivity；On the other hand，BRICS is actively engaged in inclusive institutional construction and functional cooperation. We should take appropriate measures in due time to enhance our internal resilience against external risks and actively promote the reform of the global governance system.
