Abstract:“Cultural Route” is a new concept proposed by UNESCO in the field of world heritage in recent years. This new concept reflects the adjustment and change of UNESCO’s values and orientations of world heritage. Its main manifestation is that it not only highlights universal value，but also emphasizes the unity and sustainable development in diversity，requires connection with all aspects of social life including economic factors，and advocates a “global strategy” to enhance the balance，representativeness and credibility of world heritage. In this context，the Serial Transnational nomination of the Silk Roads is undoubtedly an innovative exploration which has greatly promoted the exchanges and mutual learning of various civilizations around the world，and enhanced the efforts of countries and people along the “Belt and Road” to protect the common heritage of mankind. The ancient Silk Road is reproducing its vitality and making positive contributions to the sustainable development of mankind by this.
