2020年马来西亚数字经济发展

Abstract:Although the COVID-19 outbreak in early 2020 has brought a low point to Malaysia’s macro economy，it also has injected impetus to the development of digital economy. During the epidemic，Malaysia’s digital economy has undergone great progress，with explosive growth in e-commerce，electronic payment and other fields，which has improved the unfavorable situation of Malaysia’s economic development to a certain extent. Despite Malaysian government has made long-term plans and provided policy support for digital economy，Malaysia’s digital economy is still faced with obvious problems such as backward infrastructure construction，lack of talents and digital divide，restricting the further development of this field. Through close cooperation with China，it is believed that these issues will be properly resolved and Malaysia’s digital economy will usher in a new stage of development.
