北京国际交往中心建设发展报告（2021）

Abstract:As the Capital of a major power，Beijing entails undertaking more responsibilities in the great course of China’s rejuvenation. During the “14th Five-Year Plan”，Beijing should closely focus on the positioning of “Four Centers”，quickly adapt to the new trend of China’s returning to the center of global community，optimize the international communication environment as soon as possible，perform the responsibility of “Four Services” solidly，and fully implement the external work plan of the Party Central Committee，adhere to a high-level，high-standard and high-quality development route to build Beijing into a world-class center with global influence in all aspects.This report reviews Beijing’s accomplishment on her path to emerge as a global hub of international exchange and proposes new approaches and fields yet to adopt and plough in such as urban planning，the rail transition construction，the usage of large venues，the improvement of international communication center，the creation of international industrial park and international talents community，the improvement of urban environment and information and direction signs in the city，the increase of English popularity，the promotion of Chinese language and culture，the training and introduction of foreign talents，the overall construction of city service system and the shaping of the good image as the Capital of a major power. Starting from hardware facilities and software construction，the report studies the feasible path for the construction of international exchange center for Beijing，and puts forward specific countermeasures and suggestions.
