Abstract:In 2014，Timor Leste was generally stable and achieved progress in the main sectors. Economically，Timor Leste has kept relatively steady and fast growth，and maintained positive in balance of payments，trade，finance and investment. The government of Timor Leste also actively took measures on political and social issues and made remarkable improvements. The country successfully hosted several multilateral events，taking the advantage of which to make itself further deeply understood by the international community. As for the bilateral relationship with China，Timor Leste made a smooth development with the successful visit to China by Premier Xanana Gusmao. And the Belt and Road Initiative has opened up a brighter prospect for the future relations of the two countries.
