“一带一路”：中国海外安全风险与防范

Abstract:With the promotion of the Belt and Road Initiative，a large number of Chinese professionals and enterprises begin to go abroad and expand their business along the “Belt” and the “Road”. China sees the national security system，especially the protection system of its overseas interests，encounter new challenges in the process of its “going global”. Since most of the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative are located on the periphery of the world’s security system，their internal and external political environments and security situations are extremely complex，which means the security risks cannot be ignored and China is faced with a daunting task in terms of risk prevention. So it is of great necessity to adjust national security construction in modern China and fulfill the new mission of protecting national interests in a timely and effective manner. Furthermore，this opportunity should be taken to build an overseas interests protection system that contributes to global expansion of China’s national interests.
