Abstract:The Belt and Road initiative since it was put forward，after more than three years of brewing，has been from the initial theoretical development to the current comprehensive and pragmatic cooperation stage. Africa is an important direction for the construction of the Silk Road in the 21st century. Many planning and projects have been gradually implemented. Among them，a series of achievements have been made in the fields of trade，infrastructure construction，capacity cooperation and capacity building. However，due to the relative lag of African economic development and the need to improve the business environment，China’s economic and trade relations in Africa also face many risks and challenges. China should expand its economic and trade cooperation in Africa to seize key countries and markets，focus on investment and production cooperation to foster the market，strengthen cultural exchanges and cooperation，promote popular contacts，strengthen investment cooperation in the field of infrastructure to promote interoperability.
