Abstract:With the background of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic，this article proposes eight items of advice on deepening the reform of capital market：1）establishing efficient and flexible supervisory services mechanisms on mergers and acquisitions，reorganizations，and direct financing in capital market；2）encouraging intra-industry mergers and acquisitions，especially the acquisitions of financially distressed companies by financially robust companies，the merger between financially distressed companies，and the deals enhancing the integration of the industrial chains；3）establishing the comprehensive financing services for project-oriented mergers and acquisitions；4）accelerating the development of the mergers and acquisitions market by involving different stakeholders with the government taking the leading role；5）further expanding the scope of the reform；6）providing more tax incentives for mergers and acquisitions deals；7）supporting fintech applications in mergers and acquisitions practice；8）allowing the industrial associations to take initiatives in self-governing.
