Abstract:This paper，based on The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5℃ World in 2019，which explores the impact of urban consumption interventions on climate and consumption interventions that can be taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The report notes that consumer interventions on food，buildings and infrastructure，private transportation，aviation，clothing and textiles，electronics and home appliances will significantly affect climate change and the targets of these measures in reducing emissions. The report also analyses the effects of consumer interventions in the scenario of progressive target and ambitious target. Based on the analysis of the report，suggestions for the future consumption reduction of Chinese cities are put forward.
