2018~2019年“丝绸之路经济带”与欧亚经济联盟对接：进展、挑战和建议

Abstract:The Eurasian Economic Union （EAEU） actively promotes internal integration and external cooperation，resulting in a steady and progressive development trend. Under the joint efforts of both parties，“the Belt and Union” has made positive progress in connection and cooperation. Important progress includes：Signing the Trade and Economic Cooperation Agreement between the People’s Republic of China and the Eurasian Economic Union；promoting cooperation in key areas such as infrastructure，international transportation and digital economy；and negotiating the Great Eurasian Partnership. “The Belt and Union” also faces many challenges. On the one hand，the current economic development of the EAEU restricts the level of external cooperation，and the effect of internal integration also affects the degree of opening up. On the other hand，China also faces multilateral and bilateral considerations，as well as the challenge of coordinating the Great Eurasian Partnership and “the Belt and Road” Initiative. Therefore，we suggest：a） fully implement the signed Agreement，and use the joint committee to promote the cooperation；b） strengthen the cooperation in the key areas of the digital economy，energy，finance，and transportation；c） guide the construction of the Eurasian economic partnership based on “the Belt and Road” Initiative.
