2020年美国境外入境检查制度探析

Abstract:With the closer business and commercial trades among China and surrounding countries，the number of entry-exit passengers is increasing，so it is significant and urgent to provide more convenient and efficient customs clearance service for these people under the premise of the national security. The United States Customs and Border Protection （CBP），applies advanced technology as well as the equipment and conduct immigration control abroad through the international bilateral cooperation，which means the front of anti-terrorism is effectively moved forward to other countries’ territory. At the same time，the preclearance of the United States enables passengers to complete all the immigration formalities at one time before the departure and boarding，which decreases the waiting time. The concept and method of preclearance of the United States would provide several beneficial references for the innovation of domestic immigration administration and customs.
