Abstract:With a brand new approach，this paper attempts to investigate the changes in the relationship between China in the Ming Dynasty and the Maritime Silk Road by breaking through the limitation of the “Toyo” and “East Asia”，thus making an exploration of the relationship between China in the Ming Dynasty and globalization.The research takes the framework of “ trilogy of China in the Ming Dynasty and the Ocean”.In addition，It is vital to note that China is an agricultural country as well as a powerful one with rich ocean resources.If we take a diachronic study，the relationship between China in the Ming Dynasty and the Ocean can be summarized as a historical trilogy.To be specific，the first one is China and Indian Ocean；the second is the insertion of Indian Ocean into Pacific Ocean；the third is China and Pacific Ocean.
