Abstract:In 2018，the political situation in Haiti continued to be turbulent，the prime minister was forced to step down，the relationship between the executive and the legislature was tense，and the corruption scandal continued to ferment. The economic growth was slow，the deficit increased，the currency depreciated，the tax revenues reduced，and public debt increased. However，remittances have increased，agriculture，manufacturing，etc. have shown a growth trend，and the economy was table. The social situation was grim and there were frequent protests，but the minimum wage standard has increased. The problem of power supply was outstanding，urbanization has brought tremendous pressure on society，and geographical conditions have intensified social problems. The issue of Haiti’s immigration has not yet been properly resolved，resulting in continued tensions with Dominica. Relations with the United States，the United Nations，and the International Monetary Fund were relatively stable.
