丝路节点城市2.0：“一带一路”建设的重心与前沿

Abstract:The Silk Road node cities are the ones with strong resource concentration and strong control power of development in the urban network along the “the Belt and Road”.We identified the “Silk Road Node Cities” through constructing the Silk Road Node City 2.0（index）.It can help us identify the investment priority areas of “the Beltand Road” and provide “searchlights” for Chinese enterprises and local governments.We upgrade the Silk Road Node City 1.0（index）to Silk Road Node City 2.0（index）in this report by expanding sample cities and improving the evaluation methods.Generally speaking，we selected a total of 138 sample countries and 352 sample cities，and built an evaluation model investigating cities' characteristics including strategic partnership，regional influence，growth leading and policy communication，facility connectivity，trade smoothness，financial intermediation and popular communication.According to our model，a total of 15 important node cities，11 secondary node cities，26 general node cities and 108 potential node cities were identified in the end.Then we introduced the comprehensive performance of various types of “Silk Road Node Cities”，screened out the “Five-link” type node cities that have performed well in the “Five Links” field，and further observed the spatial distribution characteristics of these node cities.It is suggested that the full implementation of “One Belt and One Road” initiative in China in the future should take these “Silk Road Node Cities” as the pivot points，and combined with the industrial chain layout and the co-construction development zones.
