Abstract:Since the implementation of the “going out” strategy in 1997 and the implementation of the “Belt and Road Initiative”，Chinese-funded enterprises have gone through 20 years. While we have achieved fruitful results in overseas investment and overseas undertaking projects，we have also paid a heavy price and the cost of life. With the increasing complexity of international relations and security environment，various types of risks faced by Chinese-funded enterprises and personnel overseas have gradually intensified. Doing risk identification，risk prevention，risk warning，and risk disposal and effectively protecting overseas personnel and property has risen to national will. The rigid demand for overseas interest protection has spawned and promoted the overseas security market and the integration of Chinese security market with the international market. This paper analyzes the current situation，development dilemma，market opportunities，problems encountered and solutions of Chinese security companies in overseas markets. On the one hand，it helps Chinese companies and security companies understand and prevent overseas risks. On the other hand，it will help Chinese security companies understand how to locate overseas markets，how to achieve model transformation，and realize the “China Security Going Out” in the true sense.
