Abstract:With the development of geopolitics，South Pacific region is increasingly becoming an important area whose security dynamics is turning into a focus. Academic field’s research about regional security paid attention to Europe，Southeast Asia，Middle East and America which neglected South Pacific region. As an important theory for regional security，security complex theory can analyze the regional security dynamics effectively. However，there is no security complex in South Pacific region in the perspective of security complex theory. This paper is conducting an analysis of security dynamics by variables of security complex theory’s four structures. The research shows that although this region’s security dynamic is more weak that other regions，because this region met the critical structures of security complex theory，this region exists security complex. This is not only an important supplement to Buzan’s security complex theory，but also owing important academic value to study South Pacific region’s security dynamic in the future.
