论利比亚部落社会的结构及其特征

Abstract:Tribes and their clans hold the Libyan society together，so the tribal consciousness of Libyan people is very strong. There are three kinds of tribes in Libya：Arab tribes，Berber tribes and minority tribes. Libyan tribal society is divided into 6 levels，and there are 2 ranks in a tribe：Sheik and tribal people. Most of people belonging to one tribe inhabit one region，and they have the same rights and duties，while the Sheik has the supreme power. Libyan tribes have relatively fixed integrant parts and operation mechanism，as well as the stable culture and self-identity. With the acceleration of modernization and urbanization，traditional organizational structure is shocked so that the relationship between the member and the tribe is not as close as before. Generally speaking，Libya is still underdeveloped in economics，culture and politics，tribal factors still have great influences.
